Today, Kathy went home to be with our Lord and her son Jeremy. Another victim of Covid-19. Kathy was my friend for 50 years, we had been friends so long we were more like sisters. We met through a tragedy and now she has passed on and that is a tragedy. It is a tragedy for those who knew and loved her and a tragedy for those who will never be blessed with knowing her.
We became friends as little children, and we were always together. As young women, we shared dreams, we shared the blessing and troubles of first marriage. We raised our children together, we worked together, partied together and grew old but always remained friends. Many would say Kathy was a hard bitch, but in reality she was an M&M – She was all sweet and goodness on the inside but she had a hard shell because of all of the years of heartache, hard times, and hard work she endured. No matter what she was always smiling.
Kathy is loved and will be missed. I hope that those who read this will pray for her family and friends during this time of grief.
“Kathy, I will never forget you”
